VascuFlex® Peripheral Stent
Peripheral self-expanding nitinol stent system
For treating narrowed blood vessels (lesions) in the legs self-expanding stents made of nitinol (an alloy of nickel and titanium) are often used. These stents are exposed to enormous physical challenges in the legs and have the function to widen narrowed blood vessels to ensure the blood supply in the legs.
The B. Braun VascuFlex® Peripheral Stent is a highly flexible self-expanding stent for the treatment of arterial vascular occlusions of the iliac artery, the femoral artery and the popliteal artery. Its open-cell stent architecture enables a high flexibility, an excellent vessel alignment combined with low stent shortening. Available is the VascuFlex® Peripheral Stent with a 5F and 6F an delivery system (with short and long shaft) in stent diameters from 5 to 10 mm and stent lengths of 20 to 200 mm.
