2018 fiscal year: B. Braun increases sales and invests over 1.2 billion euros
Melsungen. B. Braun Melsungen AG completed the fiscal year 2018 with total sales of € 6,908 million (previous year: € 6,789 million). Sales increased from the previous year by 1.8 percent (currency-adjusted, +5.3 percent). EBITDA fell 3.3 percent from the previous year with € 952.5 million.

B. Braun establishes a subsidiary in Zambia
B. Braun has set up an own subsidiary in Zambia in November 2017. So far, the export business to this country in Southern Africa had been successfully handled by the company’s headquarters in Melsungen and the regional office in Johannesburg. With its subsidiary B. Braun Medical Zambia Limited, the company is formally establishing a solid foundation for its business in Zambia, and is better able to meet customer requirements. The entity is based in the capital Lusaka.
