Flexima® 3S Flat standard base plates are to be used with the Flexima® 3S colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy bags.

  • Mechanical flexible coupling ring with guiding system allowing 3 different pouch positions
  • Available in diameters 45, 55, 65 and 80 mm corresponding to the pouch diameters
    • Diameter 45: cut-to-fit 15-30 mm and pre-cut 20 mm, 25mm, 30mm
    • Diameter 55: cut-to-fit 15-40 mm and pre-cut 35 mm, 40mm
    • Diameter 65: cut-to-fit 15-50 mm and pre-cut 45 mm
    • Diameter 80: cut-to-fit 15-65 mm

Indication

Two-piece system base plates are to be used with the Flexima® 3S colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy pouches.

Flexima® 3S base plate - how to apply:

Cut the skin barrier to the size of your stoma using the measuring guide.
Always allow 2 to 3 mm around your stoma: it should not be strangled by the base.
Gently clean the peristomal area with warm water. Ether, alcohol and other antiseptics may prevent the base from staying in place, and should therefore be avoided.
Carefully dab dry.
Remove the protective cover.
Place the base plate around your stoma taking care to place the 3 buttons at the top.
Carefully press the skin barrier onto the skin.
Cut the skin barrier to the size of your stoma using the measuring guide.
