Extension and connection tubing
Small-bore extension lines are used in all medical disciplines where IV therapy is performed. IV therapy is performed for:
- Fluid volume maintenance
- Fluid volume replacement
- Delivery of chemotherapeutic agents, nutritional support, antibiotics and other medications
Small-bore Extension lines are used during infusion therapy to extend, branch, block/close, connect, add & extract fluids. Additionally, they have flexible tubings of different lengths, diameters and materials with Luer connectors, both ends covered by protective caps, at the proximal and distal end for combination with other medical products.
