According to the World Economic Forum, there could be a global shortage of 13 million nurses by 2030. This shortage will add even more pressure on the already overburdened caregivers. The preparation of medication takes up a large part of the nurse's day-to-day work – coupled with the additional pressure, an increase in medication errors is foreseeable. In this session, speakers will present how using medication in a ready-to-use format can reduce the risk of medication errors. Studies will also be presented showing how the use of RTU medications helps reduce nurse workloads, thereby releasing nursing time for patient care.
