Eat well. Eat regularly. Eat fresh. Drink plenty. Sound like it’s a breeze? In fact, it can be a big challenge. Nausea, lack of appetite and the mental stress that comes with diagnosis make it difficult for many patients to eat and drink enough. And if you have to undergo lengthy procedures with periods of necessary fasting or have to skip meals due to side effects or other events, your sense of hunger may also be reduced to a minimum. In some cases, certain rules for eating and drinking must be followed.

Here are some tips for making it easier. Many people feel overwhelmed during meals. Well-meaning family members increase the pressure by saying things like "honey, you GOTTA eat". Even well-intentioned bigger portions may trigger a feeling of being overwhelmed than help. Don’t push yourself. Outsmart yourself.
