Tourist Attractions

The Douro River winds through the city and reaches the ocean at Matosinhos, a city by the sea, full of interest. Siza Vieira, the worldwide known architect, comes from Porto and has shaped its contemporary look with emblematic works such as Piscina de Mares (Sea wave swimming pool), Tea House of Boa Nova or the recently built Leixões Cruise Terminal.
