B. Braun Launches Educational Injection Safety Monitoring (ISM) Website

BETHLEHEM, PA – April 8, 2015 – B. Braun Medical Inc. (B. Braun) has launched an informative website, PNBMonitoring.com, which will educate visitors about the various ways to integrate complementary monitoring modalities (injection pressure, ultrasound and stimulation) into peripheral nerve block (PNB) procedures. Injection Safety Monitoring (ISM) is the use of objective information from these complementary monitoring modalities to guide more informed decisions for needle tip placement and local anesthetic injection.

Key highlights of the website include:
PNB monitoring videos, which feature Jeff Gadsden M.D., Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center, who has been a strong advocate and supporter of integrating objective pressure monitoring into practice.
