B. Braun awarded for its good product design
Products from over 38 countries were selected in this years contest.
Melsungen, Germany. The B. Braun IV catheter Introcan Safety® 3 and the IV needle Venofix Safety® have received the 2013 GOOD DESIGN ™ Award in the category of medical equipment.
The design agency Held + Team, with whom B. Braun has cooperated in the areas of product and packaging design since 1997, submitted the B. Braun products and convinced the jury with its innovative technology and product design.
“This award reflects the success and the effort put into the development of our product design . It is a step forward in establishing a unique ‘B. Braun style’ to help distinguish our products from the competition,“ explains Matthias Kahl, Vice President Marketing “Patient Access”.
About the GOOD DESIGN Award
GOOD DESIGN ™ is the world’s most prestigious, recognized, and oldest Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Over 700 new products and graphic designs from over 38 countries were selected from different categories in the award contest this year.
